It was another awesome ArtWalk on Saturday! Thanks for coming out to the studio, everyone!!

Tonee from Red Pearl Yoga (our next-door neighbors in the Hive) led the group in seated yoga movements, and then we all did meditation painting. The suggested gesture was a spiral (for transformation) and the suggested color green (for life); and some decided to do that while others decided to use different colors. All interpreted the exercise differently, and all the paintings turned out beautiful! More importantly, they were relaxing and grounding during their creation.     

We had so many wonderful people visit us during ArtWalk on Saturday! We did some coloring, shared some art and some wine, enjoyed the food of 2 Jive Turkeys, and signed a banner for the neighborhood, donated by Doubletime Digital. The next morning we hung the banner outside on the street. We added some paintings onto the fence as well, with tags saying: "Free. Take it, enjoy it. Art is for Everyone!" Come by with a Sharpie and sign it, or take a painting. It's on the fence on SE 9th Street, two blocks west of Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale....

Weekend visitors to open studio and a painting party created some fabulous art, and more importantly, had tons of fun!!!
